Welcome to the Manhattan Wind Ensemble! Founded in 2007, MWE is a band located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. As a band of this size and caliber in the Manhattan area, we hope to provide a musical home for professional, non-professional and hobbyist musicians throughout the New York City area.

About the Musical Director

Christopher holds degrees in classical guitar (from San Jose State University) and orchestral conducting (from the University of Denver). In addition to conducting the Manhattan Wind Ensemble, Chris also sings, conducts and occasionally composes for C4: The Choral Composer/Conductor Collective, a Manhattan-based chamber chorus dedicated exclusively to music written within the past twenty-five years. He is also active as a freelance conductor and guitarist.
